Hey guys, just wanted to check in with you. How are you all doing on the first assignment? Are you remembering to fill out your Art Timesheet? If you'd like, you may begin submitting your works now and request critique. Remember, final works must be submitted by July 30th!
There are two parts to this assignment, so please pay attention. If you are a member and can no longer participate, please let us know as soon as possible!! We have limited membership spots here and if you can't participate, we have a waiting list of deviants who can take your place. Thank you!

**IMPORTANT** - If you are a member and you DO NOT complete this assignment, your spot in the group will be given to another deviant! However, if something comes up to prevent you from finishing the assignment or if you need more time, let us know & we will work something out.
Part One
In order to understand your skill level and what we need to focus on, I'm asking that each of you keep track of how much time you're spending on art. I've created an Art Timesheet for this purpose. Your job is to fill out this timesheet for the next two weeks. Please submit your finished timesheet to the group's favorites folder here on Tuesday, July 30th.
Part Two
Create a manipulation using all of your skills and technique. Do the very best you can do. There are a few rules but there is nothing limiting your creativity. You have two weeks - please use it wisely. I don't want to see any works submitted during the first week - you have time, use it! We want to see your very best work!!
Use your skills to create a manipulation to the very best of your ability. You may title it whatever you want, but please include "A1" in the title. This will help keep track of the assignments. Use the pen tool to extract the model. Use one of the following model stocks and at least two additional photographic stocks. All stocks/brushes/textures must be credited.
